Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

It's so nice to finally have a break from the chaos of school. Although, i do wish i didn't have so many art projects due on monday :(  I can't believe the holidays are here again.. It's kinda scary how fast time goes by now. I mean, how is it that there are only 3 more weeks of school left?! I always tend to get all contemplative during the winter. There's just something about the holidays and the end of another year that (depending on that year) can make me feel really happy or sad.. but anyways, i'll save that for a December entry. It is the November and today is Thanksgiving. I wonder if people actually think about what they're thankful for anymore or if they just think about the crazy sales going on.. As for me, i have the usual list of things that i am thankful for like family, a home to come back to, blahhh the usual.. but i think this year what i am really thankful for are all the carefree moments i had this year. The moments where i felt like everything was right and i was truly happy, you know? All the laughter, smiles, and good times that i shared. (how cheesy..) okay im gonna end this before i am tempted to delete this.

Four One Nine

i went to the  most adorable cafe today  :)

i know it was only my first time there but i seriously love it. 

it is now one of my favorite places.

the cafe is actually a gallery&cafe&garden.

art. food. flowers. everything that i love! (how perfect)

you get to choose where you want to sit.

it's basically set up like a house with different styles of furniture. 

there's even a backyard with outdoor seating, secluded rooms, and a side patio. 

i saw some stairs on the side of the house which led to a small gate that said "art studio" so I'm curious if people are actually allowed to go up there and work.. that would be absolutely magnificent! 

whoever designed the layout and furnished the place is extremely talented because there were so many different themes, styles, and seating arrangements! 

plus, amazingly enough, the cafe is not cluttered or cramped at all. 

It seemed like each area had at least some sense of privacy to it. 

The menu was quite pricey but that was pretty much expected.. 

they served the usual cafe stuff like coffee, tea, juice/slushes, desserts, light entrees, etc. 

i ended up sharing an ice cream waffle with michelle and getting a cup of hot chocolate (even though i drank it cold). i can't wait until i have the chance to go back again!!

since Circuit City is closing and having a massive sale,

i couldn't help myself ..

i bought Cooking Mama 2 and Brain Age 2!

my mom and henry came back from their vacation last night.

they brought back LOTS and LOTS of  souvenirs for me!

most of the gifts were pink Hello kitty stuff  :) (what a surprise)

even though i absolutely LOVE all the Hello kitty stuff  they bought me

i secretly like the music box my mom made in Japan the most.  =X

it plays a phrase of a song that sounds SO FAMILIAR!

but i cant remember where i've heard it from..

ugh.

i'm on the 2nd day of my rag.

i had a delicious brownie with whipped cream during lunch.

and i feel/i am extremely fat.

i have my sulking playlist on full blast.

and i don't want to do anything.

infact, i don't exactly plan on going to my 2nd class.

i was late for my morning class.

For some reason my phone was on silent

so i didn't hear my 4 alarms going off (-__-!)

(i hate it when that happens)

by the time i got to class i was a half hour late.

I ended up sitting outside because i didn't want to rudely interrupt our guest speaker.

Luckily i was able to sneak in after class and turn in my journal entry.

(so i guess i got credit for the day without even being there)

bleh. this is pathetic.

i need to do something.

i want to go ride a bike at the beach.

i can't seem to find my Nintendo DS :(   i really hope that it's lying around somewhere in my room. lately i've been wanting to play video games and im not exactly sure why.. i found myself buying a tamagotchi on sunday 

and playing Tetris and snake online this is probably just another one of my random phases of interest (-_-!)  anywho, guess what i found! ...... cooking mama 2 !  im still debating whether or not i should get it cause it looks SUPER FUN! but at the same time.. who knows how long this game playing phase of mine will last.

so janice has a magazine project deadline to meet

and she asked michelle and i to help her design the pages inside.

i finally finished designing my pages.

surprisingly it was pretty fun to make.

it is now 4:36AM

i can't believe i stayed up till 4AM like i did last night.

i am so, so tired.

why am i not sleeping you ask?

because i'm waiting for michelle to finish her pages..

so this is what i've been doing for the past 7 hours

      

    

as odd as it sounds

i realized that i don't exactly know how to drink hot beverages.

i always end up waiting for it to cool down.

i think the only hot beverage i ever drink is hot chocolate.

(which isn't even hot by the time i start drinking)

today i had my first cup of hot (or shall i say warm) coffee.

i've always loved the smell of coffee 

but at the same time

i never drank it for i knew it had a bitter taste and scalding temperature.

as i was in the art store today during break,

i found myself lurking around the cappuccino machine.

the pleasant aroma of french vanilla was absolutely inviting in the cold weather

so i decided to buy a small cup.

i guess you can't exactly consider it coffee

cause it was diluted with milk, sugar, and vanilla

but i must say, it was quite delicious.

it tasted like warm melted jamoca ice cream.

i think that's as close to drinking coffee as i can get.

mmmm. now i want some whip cream.
